Abhangas are nothing but short verses written by Saint Tukaram to express his love towards Lord Vithhal.
Meaning of word Swaha is to consume.
In any type of Yadnyas (यज्ञ) or Havan, the fire represents the mouth of the God to whom the particular Yadnya is dedicated and the offering into the fire indicates that we are offering some eatables to God and requests Him to consume the same by uttering the word called 'swaha'.
In such Yadnyas, the basic offerings are Rice(तांदूळ/चावल) and black Sesame(तीळ) which represents Kama(काम/sexual Desire) - Krodha(क्रोध/Anger) that undeniably resides in every individual’s hearts present on this universe.
It means that, by offering these two things into fire, we are metaphorically offering unwanted desire and anger dwells in us to God and ask Him to consume/swallow these 2 things into His body so that we would get rid of them at once .
And there by get rid of all the ailments that comes with it or gets caused by it.
As all the ailments or diseases that takes place in the human body are nothing but the cause and effects of these main 2 Disorders / Vikar (विकार) and not due to anything else.
For everyone's knowledge , following are the 6 main disorders or Vikar found in every human body living on this mortal world.
(I presume that everyone out here have heard of these disorder sometime before in their life...)
i.e.kam (काम/ust), krodh (क्रोध/wrath), lobh (लोभ/greed), moh मोह/(attachment), matsar(मत्सर/jealousy) and ahankar (अहंकार/ego )
For everyone’s information, Kama(Desire) and Krodha (Anger) are such things that they are always found in a pair, they always go hand in hand.
Meaning, they are never to be found alone and reason behind this is when a person doesn't able to fulfill his/her so called desires, Anger bounds to get evoked.
And more the person unable to satisfy his desire, more he harbor the resentment in him/her and the person turns into evil and wicked as a result and becomes threat to his/her own welfare.
And hence to save us from future disaster, one needs to be fully free from these 2 unwanted disorders.
So if and when one gets rid of all sorts of desires in them, the Anger is going to subside inevitably on its own.
Period.
