-with referece to Tukoba's abhanga (poems)

The root cause of anxieties and its simple solution-By Shri Tukaram Gatha–

Our way is the spiritual way.

Since spirituality is known to be the root or origin of all the things in the universe, it is sure fire way to attain the healing and state of healed guaranteed.

What causes anxiety and what cures it?

–The root cause of anxiety is fear.

According to all ancient sadhus and saints, the only cause of anxiety is fear (भय), panicking, or agitation, whether it is self-induced, forced, or invoked by someone else towards the unknown.

Can it be cured?

Yes. Totally. You bet.

What is the cure?

The only solution to the problem or cure for anxiety of any type is patience (धैर्य), along with composure, endurance, and calmness.

How do you increase or grow patience?

Taking things slow and never rushing to respond quickly to any positive or negative thing is the key.

Plus, treating good and bad equally helps empower a person from the inside out and boost their self-confidence.

How can one attain this?

Let people around you, including yourself, scare the heck out of you; however, not giving in to situations and believing in yourself is the recipe to strengthen your inner strength and helps make you stronger day by day.

Is it humanly possible?

Unfortunately, this is something that is humanly not possible to fully accomplish at one point, so to speak, or becomes unachievable after a certain level, so much so that people give in to the situation as a result.

– Is it humanly possible?

Meaning, this is something one cannot attain fully on their own, and hence someone else needs to intervene.

– Why so?

There are many things in the world that are naturally uncontrollable and go out of hand.

And hence, one has to seek outside help.

Who is that someone else?

Someone else or outside help could not be another human being as he or she is too subjected to fear as that of you and hence fails to carry out or can fall short to do the needful.

And hence, someone else is none other than God itself.

Why God?

According to all sages, one has to take help from a higher entity or realm that has more power and strength than the one seeking help.

But still, why God?

Since He is the creator of the universe, everything falls under His realm.

Meaning, He has total power over everything and can rule and control anything in this whole world, including human beings trivial emotions like fear and anxiety, to remain in check.

So, how do I go about doing it?

One has to remember Him every now and then to resolve the issue at the snap of a finger.

Meaning, just thinking of Him in every given situation or never forgetting Him in good and bad times helps one attain the most unexpected in the world, including conquering this so-called fear.

And for the Lord to step in...

...remembering Him every now and then and having an incessant dialogue with Him makes Him very easy to enter your life or keep showing up when needed in the form of strength, courage, patience, and what not, and ultimately take charge of your life for good.

Benefit 1:

Not only this, He becomes your solid mentor who keeps showing you the right path throughout and guides you through difficult situations every time.

Benefit 2:

Plus, He makes sure that you always emerge out of it as a winner and evolve as a gallant person each time.

Things to keep in mind:

According to saints, any human being alone cannot control or be unable to command all the situations in the hand under the sun and hence, like it or not, needs to remain subservient to the Lord.

One more thing:

God is the final resort.

And, more importantly, surrendering to the Lord is not only recommended but also enjoyable.

Do experience it.

Last but not least:

God shouldn’t be a last resort. He should always be the very first one.

Why do people fear or panic in the first place?
